Our aim is to foster and develop the child’s self discipline, self-
I will always:
be courteous, respectful and considerate to others
play games sensibly and fairly
look after my own and other people’s property·
behave responsibly and be truthful
listen carefully, line up quietly and safely
The school actively encourages good behaviour, and several strategies such as team merit points and certificates are used to highlight and reward this. The children are praised for thinking and acting thoughtfully and constructively.
The school has a Home/School Agreement that was drawn up in consultation with parents. Parents and children are encouraged to sign this agreement.
In accordance with the Education Act corporal punishment will not be administered in County and Voluntary Controlled Schools maintained by Staffordshire Education Committee.
